On the Branik thing, I have a friend in Prague who loves that stuff, so much so that when he came to my leaving bash he swore blind that Branik is better than PK's Stepan! "good beer" is truly in the mouth of the drinker.Velky Alhttp://www.fuggled.netnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5042627331437123482.post-40016469302250721122011-06-24T22:20:39.046+02:002011-06-24T22:20:39.046+02:00Well, the thing is that what you like is what'...Well, the thing is that what you like is what's good for you. People here drink Braník because they think it's good enough, otherwise they wouldn't do it. Nobody buys a case of a beer they dislike.

What many of us should realise that that the Braníks of the world are like that because that is exactly how their makers want them to be, in other words, they are well made beers. The fact that I wouldn't touch the thing, doesn't mean that there aren't people out there who believe it's a fine drink.Pivní Filosofhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17883511608403454943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5042627331437123482.post-52945267914428639972011-06-24T20:01:24.725+02:002011-06-24T20:01:24.725+02:00I think too often we confuse "what I like&quo...I think too often we confuse "what I like" with "what is good".Alistair Reecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15929927359428659775noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5042627331437123482.post-7892302457523247702011-06-24T16:54:05.279+02:002011-06-24T16:54:05.279+02:00That thing that macros don't know how to make ...That thing that macros don't know how to make good beer is one of the silliest things people (myself included at some point) tend to believe.Pivní Filosofhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17883511608403454943noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5042627331437123482.post-154401285396408322011-06-24T16:37:22.697+02:002011-06-24T16:37:22.697+02:00Looks like a really nice place, I would love to dr...Looks like a really nice place, I would love to drop by when next I am back in CR (whenever that will be).

I am always glad to hear about brewers from the big boys striking out on their own, reminds us that despite the propaganda of the Goebbels' of craft beer, brewers at the big boys do care about their product and can brew good beer as well.Alistair Reecehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15929927359428659775noreply@blogger.com
